Shu Pu-erh Tuo Cha - XiaGuan 2023 (100 g)
Yunnan, China
Shu Pu-erh Tuo Cha — XiaGuan 2023 (100 g) A compact, well-crafted ripe pu-erh from Yunnan, pressed into a classic 100 g tuo cha. Practical, clean, and reliable — this tea delivers a strong, full-bodied brew without the heavy, muddy notes many beginners fear. Aroma: Warm and inviting, with the feeling of walking through an autumn forest. Woody depth, dried leaves, light sweetness, and a calm earthy warmth that feels natural, not overpowering. Flavor: Rich and smooth: dark chocolate hints, deep woodiness, dense texture, no harshness. Strong but gentle in the cup. Liquor: Dark brown to deep amber, glossy and dense, with a stable, full-bodied presence in the cup. Origin: Produced by XiaGuan Tea Factory, one of Yunnan’s most recognized pu-erh makers. 2023 harvest, ripe (shu) pu-erh, pressed into tuo cha form for convenience and long-term storage. Brewing Guidelines: Gongfu style: 5–7 g per 150–250 ml, water 95–100°C (203–212°F), short infusions. Classic style: 3–5 g per 250–300 ml, 95–100°C (203–212°F), 2–4 minutes. The tea handles many infusions. Fully pour out each infusion to avoid bitterness. Who It’s For Perfect for anyone who wants a strong, dependable, and smooth shu pu-erh with depth, warmth, and zero muddiness — ideal for both beginners and experienced drinkers. Gongfu Cha is a traditional brewing method using more leaf and short repeated infusions that gradually reveal the tea’s flavor and aroma.
