How much caffeine do you want?
How do I brew tea properly?+
Use more leaf than you'd expect, short steeps of 10–30 seconds, and re-steep the same leaf several times — most teas comfortably give you 5 or more infusions this way. The Brew Calculator on our Start page will work out exact times for whatever tea you're holding.
How should I store my tea?+
Keep it in a sealed container, away from light, heat, moisture, and strong smells — a kitchen cupboard away from the stove works well. Pu-erh is the one exception: it's meant to keep changing over time and does best with a little airflow rather than a fully sealed jar.
Where does your tea actually come from?+
Every tea on this site is sourced directly from growers and small producers in China, not repackaged from a wholesaler. Origin, region, and harvest year are listed on each product page whenever we have them.
How long does shipping take, and do you ship internationally?+

Something's wrong with my order — what do I do?+
Use the "Report a problem" link in the footer, or just reply to your order confirmation email. Include your order number and, if it's about a specific item, a photo — that's usually enough for us to sort it out quickly.
