Yixing Zisha "Shi Piao" Teapot, Black Gold Sand Clay, Handmade, 200 ml

A classic "Shi Piao" (石瓢, "stone ladle") shape — one of the most recognized traditional Yixing forms, built on three elements: a trapezoidal body, three triangular feet, and a bridge-shaped lid knob. The geometry is deliberate: the same triangle repeats through the handle, body, and feet, a nod to the shape's long association with balance and stability, and the concave curve where the body meets the feet gives the whole pot a slight sense of lift despite its solid, grounded silhouette.

Hand-formed from raw-ore black gold sand clay (黑金砂泥), fired to a deep, matte near-black finish that will darken and take on a soft sheen with regular use, the way most well-cared-for zisha clay does over time. 9 cm tall, with a 5 cm lid opening.

Works well for pu-erh, oolong, and other fuller-bodied teas; as with any zisha pot, dedicating it to one tea over time is the traditional approach, rather than switching between very different teas in the same pot. Arrives in a gift box.
