GABA Wild Honey | Oolong Tea
Taiwan, China
GABA Wild Honey — Taiwanese Oolong with Natural Honey Sweetness GABA Wild Honey is a Taiwanese oolong made from leaves harvested from wild tea bushes. The tea goes through a special low-oxygen GABA fermentation process, which increases its natural sweetness and gives it a gentle honey-like character.
The sweetness is not added — it forms naturally during fermentation. The “honey” note appears because the leaf partially oxidizes and develops natural fruit-sugar compounds.
Это creates a soft, sweet flavor without bitterness or any flavoring. This tea is chosen for its calm character, smooth taste, and relaxing effect.
Flavor: wild honey • caramel • apricot • dried fruits • vanilla • warm wood • light smokiness • nuts • tropical fruits • sweet spicy trail • cacao • creamy softness Aroma: A gentle honey-fruity aroma with a light floral touch. The scent is soft and calm, opening gradually.
High GABA content supports the nervous system, reduces stress, improves sleep, and stabilizes emotional balance. Brewing Guidelines: Gongfu: 5–7 g per 150–250 ml, water 80–90°C (176–194°F), short infusions.
Thermos: 7–8 g per 1 L, steep 10–15 minutes. The tea handles many infusions.
Fully pour out each infusion to avoid bitterness. Gongfu Cha is a traditional brewing method using more leaf and short repeated infusions that gradually reveal the tea’s flavor and aroma.
