Hand-Carved Glacial Tillite Stone Teapot — No. 1

A rare collector-grade teapot carved from natural Glacial Tillite Stone, created as an individual work of functional stone art. Unlike conventional ceramic or clay teaware, each teapot begins with a naturally formed piece of stone.

The material is carefully selected and individually carved, shaped, refined, and polished by skilled craftsmen. Because the natural structure, mineral pattern, texture, and coloration of every stone are different, no two finished teapots are exactly alike.

The sculptural form preserves the character of the original stone while combining it with traditional Chinese teaware proportions. Every surface, transition, lid, handle, and pouring detail requires precise stone-carving work, making each finished piece both a functional teapot and a collectible object.

Natural Glacial Tillite Stone: an unusual natural stone formed from ancient geological deposits. Its structure can contain naturally occurring mineral inclusions, crystalline markings, variations in color, and irregular textures that become part of the character of the finished teapot.

These natural variations are not defects — they are what make every piece visually unique. Fully handcrafted, individually finished by hand.

Produced in very limited quantities due to the difficulty of selecting suitable stone and the craftsmanship required. Each piece therefore carries its own pattern, surface character, and visual identity — created for collectors and tea enthusiasts who value rare natural materials and objects that cannot be perfectly reproduced.
