The uneven, “living” surface reacts noticeably to tea over time — gradually darkening, developing a soft sheen, and gaining richer depth of color. The sculpted texture allows tea to collect in the recessed areas, slowly absorbing the liquor and evolving through regular use. Designed for consistent daily interaction during tea sessions. Usage depends entirely on your personal tea ritual. Made from Yixing clay (zisha), a porous material known for absorbing tea and naturally developing a patina over time. Features a layered relief texture with detailed recessed surfaces. The material is resistant to water and temperature changes and maintains its structure during long-term use. Small dots, unevenness, and surface variations are natural characteristics of the clay and hand-finishing process.
